Reiner Schulte (Backnang) spielte die Uraufführung in der Pfarrkirche Maria Königin, Tuttlingen, am 21. März 2021. Die einzelnen Sätze mögen tonmalerische Elemente enthalten, aber im Ganzen ist die Musik eher eine sehr subjektive, durch die Texte und Bilder angeregte musikalische Darstellung. Es ist sicherlich ungewöhnlich, vielleicht sogar einmalig, dass die 14 Stationen als sieben Präludien und Fugen angelegt sind. Viel wichtiger aber als die formale Anlage ist, dass der Zuhörer den emotionalen Inhalt spürt. (Bernard W. Sanders)
