On the work... I had just discovered the beautiful orchestral work by Debussy "Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune". The opening flute melody was firmly lodged in my mind and I decided to write a piece with the fluid rhythms and the opening interval of an augmented fourth as the basis. Duration: 4 minutes |
